Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother hails from Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six when the family moved from the city of Victoria within London. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was a very difficult experience. She refused to learn English and hoped she could relocate back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was ordered to move schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and took part in the drama department. At the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to work as an actor. The opportunity was offered to her opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her a job as a model.
