Taylor Swift may be the most unique of pop stars: an artist who was able to effectively bridge the gap between country and pop while sweeping the globe. But, it also did well all over the world. Swift could build on her popularity by releasing Speak Now almost two year following. With the three albums following -- Red 2012 1989 2014, and Reputation 2017, her fame only grew. It was a clear indication that she was in an entirely new world of pop where she fit in. In the end, when she refocused her music to the stripped-down versions of 2020, folklore and Evermore but she was still on top. It was a position that was confirmed through re-recordings of her previous catalog, as along with Midnights the synth-based chart-topper 2022 album.
