Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its debut season, and became America's Sweetheart. It was not just hugely successful and a huge success, it also earned her a recording contract for numerous albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. Since then, she's released many studio albums, including three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly fell short of the top spot. She's among the most well-known artists that have emerged from American Idol. To be successful she played around with various genres of music and experimented with themes. She earned critical acclaim and a number of prestigious awards for her individuality as well as her singing talent. Most notably she has won three times the Grammy Award three times. She has also appeared in television and films. She also co-wrote the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved with various charitable organizations.
